I welcome you to the University of Jiroft (UJ) and wish you all the best in your academic studies, as well as in your personal lives and future professional careers. The student is the most important person on our campus. We create opportunities and inspire students to achieve their goal. Our aim is to provide you with the experience that will allow you to explore, learn, and create as productive members of a global society in your chosen careers. So many of our students find that the public mission of UJ in ways that help them make their way in the world, and in turn make that world a better place. UJ’s 10-year strategic plan aims to promote the university to an entrepreneurial and skilled-oriented one among top local universities which will play a leading role in the sustainable development of southern Kerman.

UJ is a center of knowledge production and dissemination in southeastern Iran because it has a five-thousand year living civilization and more than seven thousands of history, the oldest living civilization, abundant eco-tourism attractions, a contraction of biological diversity within a small region, being located in the most productive area in terms of agricultural production as well as the host of many mines on the earth.
