Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2012. Now, department of mechanical engineering has 177 bachelor students and 5 faculty members. Publishing numerous papers in prestigious journals, accomplishing some research projects and patents, acceptance of mechanical students in prestigious universities at Master of Science and Ph.D. levels are some major achievements of Mechanical Engineering Department. Design of Agriculture spraying drone, 3D printer, Jack of macaroni structures are other projects accomplished by mechanical engineering students successfully. All workshop and laboratory facilities including welding workshop, machine tool and tool making workshop, labs of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, strength of materials and dynamic machine and vibration are provided efficiently by Department of Mechanical Engineering to train skillful and entrepreneurial members to serve in the country and specially south of Kerman.
