Scientific and International Relations at Jiroft University
Jiroft University has actively pursued scientific and international collaborations with both domestic and foreign universities and research institutions. These efforts are aimed at fostering academic excellence, promoting research, and facilitating knowledge exchange at national and international levels.
1. Memorandums of Understanding with European and Asian Universities:

2. Joint International Projects:
Between 2015 and 2019, Jiroft University faculty members successfully conducted 3 international projects in agriculture with the University of Milan, 1 project with the University of Tübingen, Germany, and 1 project with the University of Padua, Italy.
3. Erasmus+ Scholarships and Faculty/Student Mobility:
In 2019, the university received 4 Erasmus+ scholarships from the European Union to enable the exchange of 1 faculty member and 2 students from Jiroft University, as well as 1 faculty member from the University of Padua, Italy.
4. Elite Program:
Within the framework of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology’s International Scientific Cooperation Center, and at the request of the Archaeology Department, Jiroft University invited Professor Shin Wu, a Harvard University alumnus and faculty member at Fudan University, Shanghai, China, during the second semester of the 2018–2019 academic year for collaborative educational and research activities.
5. Training Workshops with International Instructors:
From 2016 to 2019, Jiroft University organized specialized workshops for faculty members, students, and staff, inviting instructors from the Universities of Milan, Padua, Fudan, and other prominent institutions to share their expertise.
6. Visits to Foreign Institutions:
To enhance international collaboration, Jiroft University delegations visited the University of Milan, Italy (2015–2016), and Deccan College Archaeology Pune, India (2018). These visits resulted in agreements for joint research projects.
