Ecological engineering is a collection of sciences and
techniques that are used to train experts familiar with vegetation communities,
terrain, climatic factors, water, soil and causes of degradation and erosion of
forests, rangelands, and watersheds.
After completion of relevant courses, students can work as nature expert
(Natural Resources Engineer) to provide plans for management of rangelands,
deserts and watersheds and to collaborate in education and research in various
fields of natural recourses. As rangelands are considered as the main source of
forage for livestock, they play an important role in the country's economy. In
order to prevent soil erosion, it is necessary that specialists be trained that can take action for ecosystems restoration and soil
and water conservation through proper planning and supervising the
implementation of projects.
