The Department of Plant Protection has educated
students at Bachelor of Science (BSc.) and Master of Science (MSc.) of Plant
Pathology since 2011 and 2012, respectively. This department has distinct
educational and research laboratories, in which BSc. and MSc. students are
engaged in educational activities in the field of identification of plant pests
and diseases, and research activities in the fields of Mycology, Virology,
Plant Pathogenic Prokaryotes, Nematology, Plant disease management as well as
Biological control. This department currently has five Assistance Professors
and two PhD students in different plant protection fields as faculty members.
