Two University of Jiroft Faculty Members Among World’s Top 2% Most-Cited Researchers
According to the assessments carried out by Stanford University based on key metrics and the data collected on Scopus, Dr. Mahboube Shirani and Dr. Mohammad Hossein Khanjani, Associate Professors at Chemistry and Fisheries Departments respectively, made it to the world’s top 2% most-cited researchers.
This list analyzed the citation performance of authors for their published research outputs from 1960 to 2023 in 22 main subject fields and 174 sub-fields, and based on this, whittled down the authors who were among the top 2% of cited researchers in the world.
It should be noted that Dr. Shirani and Dr. Khanjani (who secured this rank in 2023 as well) with the h-indexes 21 and 22, respectively, have published more than 50 and 40 articles in prestigious international journals and each have been cited more than 1400 and 1200 times, respectively.
