The Second Students’ Healthy Food Festival Organized
by Food Science and Technology Department, Faculty of Agriculture was held with
enthusiasm. Different foods from different cultures were presented and tasted.
This event allowed the students of different departments to get together
and share their information on safe and nutritious foods.
31 student groups made presentations on their
dishes, including various nutritious appetizers, desserts and drinks, by
explaining the nutritional values of the dishes.
Dr. Fatemeh Shahdadi stated: This festival was
held with the aim of improving the health of students, creating a spirit of
teamwork and competition.
Finally, the Head of the Food Science and
Technology Department at University of Jiroft, appreciated the students’ active
participation and commitment, and acknowledge the presence of
chancellor of the university, faculty members and staffs at this event.
